Terms of use

CronSpell is a free tool provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Explanations and run times are computed from the expression and time zone you give, using standard cron rules and the time zone data built into the service. Cron daemons and libraries differ in details (seconds fields, the day-of-month/day-of-week rule, daylight saving time), so check important schedules against the system that will run them.

Fair use: use is rate-limited to about 60 requests per minute per IP. There is no paid tier on this site. Don't attempt to bypass limits or overload the service. Access may be limited or withdrawn at any time.

Works with AI agents and assistants that can call an MCP server or a JSON API, for example Muse, Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor (descriptive only). CronSpell is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Meta, Anthropic, OpenAI, Anysphere or any cron software project.
